EDISON 2.0 WEDGES
Forgiving. Versatile. Accurate . . . Smarter.
The EDISON 2.0 wedges don't look like the stale old 'tour design' wedges you've always played, because they were engineered from scratch for the way YOU play the game.
Discover The Edison Difference. Better scoring ahead...
I cannot say it any better than these words! I now carry the 47°, 51°, 55° and 59° wedges. I am more than satisfied with the quality and results I get from each one. "Tour Design" doesn't work for me anymore. Edison does.
They had the proper shaft for my application, but it would be nice if a larger selection of shafts were available. May help to increase sales.
Gave it a good testing. Over 200 shots. But did not see any significant improvement over my current wedge. Returned for refund.
Love the hat and the logo gets a lot of comments saying what’s that! Tell them it’s Edison Golf and my buddies are like - cool!
Best I have ever owned. Reduced my handicap by four strokes so far. Loving them, can’t wait for spring.
Honestly, this is the best club in my bag. I use it more than any other as it is my go to inside 80 yards. Can’t recommend it highly enough!
Mr. Kohler,
I wanted to take a moment to submit to you a review of my new Edison 2.0 wedges. It all started a month or two ago when one of my friends showed up to play with a new 57°. He loves new and shiny and always convinces me to take a look at whatever new tool he has. On this particular occasion, I was watching him hit short shot after short shot in the practice area and the balls were just one hopping and stopping. He didn’t have to convince me to give it a try. I went to him and said let me see that thing. Out on the course I was able to hit it a few times as well and really really liked it. As it turned out, I ordered a 53 and a 57 “heads only”as soon as I got home. I was preparing to go on a golf trip in a few days, so I asked that the shipment be expedited and to my pleasure it was. Once the heads arrived I installed them on two of my previous wedge shafts which were True temper. The next week we went out in our regular group and I had one of the best short game days I have had in many years.
All of the tech and reasoning about how these perform was spot on. Prior to Edison I had three wedges in my bag. 48° 54° and 58°. The 53 and 57° replaced 54 and 58°. The trip was out to Scottsdale and I was fortunate enough to play Scottsdale national for two days while staying on site. Also played TPC Scottsdale monument rock and we-Ko-pa Cholla course. There were only two of us so we were always playing with others, and without exception on every round people would see how the ball performed off the club and asked me what the heck that was. I explained your story and the tech as best I could always offering swings if they wanted to give it a try. Every single player could not believe the performance stay achieved.
Currently, I have chipped in more in the last two months than I have in the last four or five years. It’s just crazy. I like them so much that I ordered a 47° head only to replace my 48. With the holidays I have not been able to install it quite yet, but plan to do so over Christmas.
On all three of my wedges regardless of brand, they are never used for 100% full shots but for more short and off speed shots and I am 100% comfortable with them.
Thank you for a great product and I am definitely a convert. Your service has been impeccable and your tech is well explained so that a potential buyer can understand why the Edison product is different.
Again, huge thanks and congratulations on a superior product.
~John
I have enjoyed my wedges. I have been hitting it closer than ever with these things, and the spin they impart is noticeably better than the spin I was getting with other wedges. For the first time my wedges can, if I want, back up toward me when they hit the green!
The perimeter weighting is a nice match for my game improvement irons. I have confidence that I am going to get a decent shot when I pull these wedges out. I am very pleased!
Have a 50 and a 56. I am making better more accurate shots with these clubs. They are very versatile. Keepers for sure!
Remarkable! Amazing feel and spin. Huge confidence booster. Makes me feel it's ok to be aggressive hence my technique is improving. No longer timid or anxious. Makes me want to practice short game more. Because it's fun now! Thank you for your innovation!
I’m learning that the heavier head is sometimes a challenge, but they are very pure and I’m sure that my game will improve greatly! I did have an eagle on a par four from 65 yards with my 55 degree!!
The forgiveness on these wedges are amazing... I bought them in 2023 and I replaced the 57 degree head only, re-using my shaft. It was cost saving move that made the club cost no more than a vokey but it performs so much better given my "non-pro" swing. Will keep buying them in the future...
Thanks for repairing the ferrule on 2 of my Edison wedges that were separating. You really stand behind your product! Bill T was great to work with too. I have four Edison wedges which have really improved my wedge playing these last few years. Remember to advertise to female golfers too.
Wedge heads arrived in just a few days! Packaged well and look and feel great! Need to shaft them this week, but they just look so good!
I got my 55 with the KBS Regular+ shaft and for some reason it loves me back! Must be the club since it can’t be me!👍
I bought these wedges in order to hit consistent full swing shots. I got that plus they are terrific from tight lies which is the situation at our course in California
Clubs are good…not yet settled on what lofts I’ll play on regular basis.
53 degree is perfect fit and big improvement over comparable Mizuno and Vokey.
Think 49 and 57 are probably keepers but intend to try 45 and possibly 59.
If they are playable (aka likable and functional) might keep all 5 wedges and rotate thru the season>
The beauty of these clubs is the ball comes off the face the same almost all the time. The greens I play are very firm and the rollout is 1/2 what it was. As a 70 year old who drives the ball 260, is a5 handicap, I'm never felt better about my wedges. I'll add a 46 degree soon.
These wedges are worth every penny. What I notice the most is the distance I keep even on a fat shot. I’m not saying it gets to the hole, but it get much closer than other wedges I’ve used. I think their claim of closer to the hole is true.
These things spin. Normally, I think spin is overrated because most amateurs are short to the pin. But with these, I feel confident enough to hit a hard shot past the hole and let it come back. On short shots they check consistently, which gives me a lot of confidence on short chips.
I like the one sole option, I haven’t found a shot I can’t hit. I play the 49 and 53. I will say, I don’t use them out of the sand (i have an old 58 that isn’t going anywhere as I don’t hit full shots with it and it gets me out of the sand)
Bottom line, yeah, they are a little more expensive. You get what you pay for. Well made, wedge assembled in the USA, and the customer service is top notch.
Im a 9 handicap and I can say these wedges have helped me get closer to the pin, and I’m as consistent or better with them. I also like they are different, I like they are trying things with tech and I like working with a smaller company.
I have been struggling with my wedges and stumbled on a review on the Edison wedges. I did the online fitting and decided to give the 57 deg wedge a try. It is very well made and looks great. The club has helped me significantly within 100yds from the green. The guys I play with have noticed a difference and they seem to borrow it more than use their own club. I highly recommend them especially for anyone that struggles with their wedges.
