“I’m playing to about a 7 out of Iron Horse Golf Club in Milton GA. Owned the original Edison’s and traded them in for the 2.0’s this year. Have the 49, 53, and 57. My favorite thing about them is I don’t lose much distance on high face strikes on full shots.

“This is my first Edison (51°). Finding a forged semi-cavity back to compliment my Mizuno P-iron was more difficult than I expected. When I found your brand I jumped on it. It’s the best gap wedge I’ve used to date. I need to add a sand wedge next. 👍 ⛳️

“Are they worth it? Yes. I carry 45*49*53*59* Original wedges are good looking. Edison 2.0 are beautiful. Better looking in person than in photographs. Both versions are forged and perform well, but 2.0 feels a bit softer IMO. I'm glad I made the move away from traditional wedges to the more forgiving Edison Wedges!

from 238 reviewsLove them. easy to hit and very forgiving.
I originally purchased 1.0 version 53 and 57 degree wedges. I liked them so much I decided to try the 2.0 PW. I just love all three. The club just feels good and the weight distribution is perfect. Your philosophy on the different weight distribution from traditional, pro wedges is spot on. The Edison wedges just feel right. I have supreme confidence when I swing them.
I bought a set of 3 wedges while I was ‘on the bench’ healing up from back surgery. I got cleared in June to resume playing and now have 12 rounds in. These wedges are GREAT! Whether in deep rough, a green side bunker of the fairway, the clubs make all shots easier to hit than the other wedges that are designed for the pros. They have given me the ability to hit a variety of shots that I couldn’t hit with my previous wedges. My short game thanks you!!
Absolutely the best wedge I have ever used. Played a round of golf and I had no problem using my wedge. I had a couple of lies in deep rough and managed to get the ball on the green instead of chunking or flying the ball over the green.
I purchased a 3 wedge set about 6 weeks ago to help my daughter refine the low end of her bag. She's entering her Junior year in High School and aspires to play golf at the collegiate level. She's had a busy summer tournament schedule and has been posting her lowest scores ever of late. In the NCGA Jr. Tour Championship she shot an even par 71 at Poppy Hills yesterday, her lowest round in competition to date. She's commented she's had a notable difference in her realistic birdie opportunities since the addition of the Edison wedges which have lead to her lower scores. She loves her new found ability to flight her approach shots into greens, the additional forgiveness of the wedges, and the control the greater spin creates. She's a big fan of her new wedges!! Thank you Mr. Kohler!!
Spin, control and forgiving. Incredible feel. I had the originals and these are even better! I’m a male 56 and a 7 handicap. I’ve had great success in converting a few friends to switch to Edison. They love the feel and versatility. My buddy is a 2 and he couldn’t believe how great they felt.
Truly a terrific wedge! I ordered a 56 with an R+ shaft and midsized grip, 3/4 of an inch longer and was delivered perfect. Great feel, trajectory and spin. Must hit your regular ball you play with and not range balls!!! I’m so impressed I have ordered two more. I have not hit one shot FAT😡 which I am prone to do so obviously leads to better scoring. Do yourself a big favor and try an Edison 2.0 wedge….you will be glad you did!

I have 3 sets of gen 1.0 in three different locations. I have just ordered my 3rd set of Gen. 2.0. I enjoy them and their perforamce. .
Been a diehard vokey wedge player for 35 years. So very happy with the Edison wedges. Love the look and feel of these wedges and coupled with the KBS shafts it’s a perfect blended of form and function. Loving the trajectory and spin from 120 yards out along with feel on chips around the greens. Highly recommend giving them a try just to see if they’re right for you. Derek Franz
The forged feel is so worth it! And the added size of club head makes it so hard to miss.
To be honest, I was a little skeptical at first but with the 30 day trail period I decided to give these wedges a shot. After the trial period I decided to order the matching 55 and 50.
First off, I have been incredibly impressed with the versatility of the sole (grind). Although the sole is fairly narrow, the grind/bounce configuration allows for a variety of shots and I have noticed very little “digging.” Not only are the wedges very good from fairway lies, they perform great from the rough and sand as well. From a full shot perspective, I have noticed a slightly lower ball flight on 3/4 to full wedges distances and the wedges DEFINITELY provide added forgiveness from the rough when the ball is struck higher on the face (my typical miss from the rough).
Overall, I can’t say enough good things about these wedges. Not only do they perform at a high level, they look and feel incredibly solid. I still play a lot of competitive amateur golf (I’m a plus handicap) and I’ve had no regrets putting these wedges in play. My only concern will be how well the grooves hold up over time (I usually replace my 60 at least once a year due to wear and tear from practice/playing). In a perfect world it would be great if they offer a return customer discount (hint hint :)) because as of now, the spin these wedges create while fairly new are as good or better than any of the “big name” wedges I’ve played over the last 20 years.
In closing, great wedges and that will be in my bag for the long haul.
Cheers!

I bought a 51 degree to fill a gap as I don't hit the ball as far as I have in the past. So I opted for a 51 degree for around 90 to 100 yards shots. I used to use a 56 sand wedge for this distance. Initially I was not happy the club it felt awkward to swing and too upright. I thought this club was built for someone else. The last year and half it has been in and out of my bag sharing time with a Miura 53 degree. Now it is my go to for 90 to 110 yard shots and bump and runs. It feels like my game needed to improve to appreciate the simplicity of this wedge. It always stops on a dime when I take full wedge swings. It's not leaving my bag. It is one of the key reason I have recently dropped 4 strokes off my handicap.
Love my wedge!
I purchased my 49* wedge maybe 3 months ago; I read the reviews and decided to fill in "the loft gap" between my current 43* and 52^ wedges. I am 70+ yo and a 22 handicap...and NOT in possession of a great short game. OMG--the Edison wedge is "the most BORING wedge" ever. No matter how I hit it--center, heel, toe--beautifully straight shots or baby draws; it's like the shots are guided from a power above!! OMG--after one round it is my "go to shot"--from bump and run to high "floaters" from 50-100 yds--they just do what I want them to do. I can HONESTLY SAY--this wedge has cut 2-2.5 strokes per round off my average score! Now, I have to figure out a way to save up and buy more of them!! Absolutely 5* out of 5 stars...David Andalman; Highland Park, Illinois
I am very happy with my wedges. The ball flight is very consistant and there is ample spin for control. I would recommend these wedges to anyone who is struggling with the "pro" type wedge.
