“I’m playing to about a 7 out of Iron Horse Golf Club in Milton GA. Owned the original Edison’s and traded them in for the 2.0’s this year. Have the 49, 53, and 57. My favorite thing about them is I don’t lose much distance on high face strikes on full shots.

“This is my first Edison (51°). Finding a forged semi-cavity back to compliment my Mizuno P-iron was more difficult than I expected. When I found your brand I jumped on it. It’s the best gap wedge I’ve used to date. I need to add a sand wedge next. 👍 ⛳️

“Are they worth it? Yes. I carry 45*49*53*59* Original wedges are good looking. Edison 2.0 are beautiful. Better looking in person than in photographs. Both versions are forged and perform well, but 2.0 feels a bit softer IMO. I'm glad I made the move away from traditional wedges to the more forgiving Edison Wedges!

from 273 reviewsRemarkable! Amazing feel and spin. Huge confidence booster. Makes me feel it's ok to be aggressive hence my technique is improving. No longer timid or anxious. Makes me want to practice short game more. Because it's fun now! Thank you for your innovation!
I’m learning that the heavier head is sometimes a challenge, but they are very pure and I’m sure that my game will improve greatly! I did have an eagle on a par four from 65 yards with my 55 degree!!
Put four wedges into play three weeks ago and never looked back. The forgiveness and the fully forged feel is a beautiful experience. Yesterday’s round was especially special. Par 4, 90 yards from middle of fairway to a back middle pin with a slight breeze down. After a discussion with my son, I went with 57 degree wedge. Could not have hit a better ball. Landed just short left of the pin and spun right three feet and into the hole! The versatility of 2.0 wedges is exceptional and endless.
Thank you Terry and Bill and entire team at Edison! Keep up the great work.
The forgiveness on these wedges are amazing... I bought them in 2023 and I replaced the 57 degree head only, re-using my shaft. It was cost saving move that made the club cost no more than a vokey but it performs so much better given my "non-pro" swing. Will keep buying them in the future...
Thanks for repairing the ferrule on 2 of my Edison wedges that were separating. You really stand behind your product! Bill T was great to work with too. I have four Edison wedges which have really improved my wedge playing these last few years. Remember to advertise to female golfers too.
I purchased these Wedges in early summer but I wanted to wait before I wrote a review on these wedges to really put them through there paces. I purchased these wedges mainly because I had a large gap between my gap wedge and my pitching wedge but they turned out to be so much more. They did fix my gap my pitching wedge goes about 125-130 and instead of 105 gap wedge my new Edison gap wedge goes 115 can push it to 120 if I have to. So problem was fixed in the gapping. Another thing I noticed is how easy these wedges are to hit. They are so easy to hit off center hits go nearly as far as perfect strikes. Chipping is a breeze with these clubs I haven’t had better chipping wedges ever. My only issue with these clubs has been sand. I’m usually a pretty good sand player but I think there’s just a bit of a learning curve and recently my sand game is getting back to normal with these wedges. I can honestly say I’m very satisfied with the purchase of these wedges and these have quite simply been the best wedges I’ve ever hit.
Wedge heads arrived in just a few days! Packaged well and look and feel great! Need to shaft them this week, but they just look so good!
EDISON 2.0 Wedge - Single
I got my 55 with the KBS Regular+ shaft and for some reason it loves me back! Must be the club since it can’t be me!👍
I bought these wedges in order to hit consistent full swing shots. I got that plus they are terrific from tight lies which is the situation at our course in California
Clubs are good…not yet settled on what lofts I’ll play on regular basis.
53 degree is perfect fit and big improvement over comparable Mizuno and Vokey.
Think 49 and 57 are probably keepers but intend to try 45 and possibly 59.
If they are playable (aka likable and functional) might keep all 5 wedges and rotate thru the season>
Feel comfortable and confident with these wedges in hand.
The beauty of these clubs is the ball comes off the face the same almost all the time. The greens I play are very firm and the rollout is 1/2 what it was. As a 70 year old who drives the ball 260, is a5 handicap, I'm never felt better about my wedges. I'll add a 46 degree soon.
These wedges are worth every penny. What I notice the most is the distance I keep even on a fat shot. I’m not saying it gets to the hole, but it get much closer than other wedges I’ve used. I think their claim of closer to the hole is true.
These things spin. Normally, I think spin is overrated because most amateurs are short to the pin. But with these, I feel confident enough to hit a hard shot past the hole and let it come back. On short shots they check consistently, which gives me a lot of confidence on short chips.
I like the one sole option, I haven’t found a shot I can’t hit. I play the 49 and 53. I will say, I don’t use them out of the sand (i have an old 58 that isn’t going anywhere as I don’t hit full shots with it and it gets me out of the sand)
Bottom line, yeah, they are a little more expensive. You get what you pay for. Well made, wedge assembled in the USA, and the customer service is top notch.
Im a 9 handicap and I can say these wedges have helped me get closer to the pin, and I’m as consistent or better with them. I also like they are different, I like they are trying things with tech and I like working with a smaller company.
I have been struggling with my wedges and stumbled on a review on the Edison wedges. I did the online fitting and decided to give the 57 deg wedge a try. It is very well made and looks great. The club has helped me significantly within 100yds from the green. The guys I play with have noticed a difference and they seem to borrow it more than use their own club. I highly recommend them especially for anyone that struggles with their wedges.
