Your Mid-Season Scoring Report

Personalized insights to help you assess, improve, and lower your scores for the rest of the season.

The Putting Leak

Your short game is giving you chances to score, but too many putts are preventing lower scores.

Better distance control and more confidence on the greens could make the second half of this season your best yet.

What Your Results Mean

The encouraging thing about your assessment is this:

Your wedges and short game are creating scoring opportunities.

You're getting the ball close enough to save pars.

You're giving yourself birdie chances.

But you're leaving too many shots on the greens.

Maybe it's:

  • Too many three-putts.
  • Poor lag putting.
  • Missed short putts.
  • Inconsistent speed control.

The good news?

Putting is often the fastest area of the game to improve.

One Better Putt Per Round

Think about this:

  • One fewer three-putt.
  • One extra six-footer made.
  • One lag putt that finishes inside three feet.
  • That's one stroke.

Over twenty rounds?

Twenty shots.

That's often the difference between:

  • Breaking 100.
  • Breaking 90.
  • Breaking 80.
  • Or reaching your lowest handicap.

Your Mid-Season Practice Plan

DRILL #1 - The Ladder Drill

Purpose:

Improve distance control.

Setup:

Place tees at:

20 feet

30 feet

40 feet

50 feet.

Putt one ball to each distance.

Goal:

Every putt finishes inside:

3 feet.

Advanced Goal:

Inside:

2 feet.

Why It Matters:

Most three-putts start with poor speed control.

Great putters don't necessarily make more long putts.

They leave themselves easier second putts.

DRILL #2 -The Around-the-Clock Drill

Purpose:

Build confidence.

Setup:

Place:

8 balls around the hole.

All from:

4 feet.

Goal:

Make all eight.

Miss one?

Start over.

Why It Matters:

Pressure creates confidence.

You begin expecting to make these putts.

DRILL #3 - The One-Ball Putting Challenge

Purpose:

Simulate real golf.

Setup:

Drop one ball:

15 feet.

25 feet.

35 feet.

Play each one until holed.

Goal:

No three-putts.

Why It Matters:

Golf gives you one chance.  Practice should too.

DRILL #4 - The Speed Gate Drill

Purpose:

Improve pace.

Setup:

Place two tees:

18 inches apart.

Three feet behind the hole.

Goal:

Every putt finishes:

Between the tees.

Why It Matters:

The best putters have great speed.  Great speed eliminates three-putts.

Equipment Can Help

Good putting starts with:

✔ Confidence

✔ Consistent speed

✔ Predictable roll

The right putter can help you:

  • Improve distance control.
  • Build confidence.
  • Start more putts on line.
  • Eliminate costly three-putts.

You don't need to make everything.

You simply need to make a few more.

Your Second-Half Challenge

This season:

Eliminate one three-putt every round.

That's it.

One.

That simple goal can dramatically change your scores.

Ready to Become a Better Putter?

Your short game is already giving you opportunities.

Now it's time to convert more of them.
