Your Mid-Season Scoring Report

Personalized insights to help you assess, improve, and lower your scores for the rest of the season.

The Scoring Machine

Your wedges and putter are helping you score. You're giving yourself opportunities from 100 yards and in and avoiding costly three-putts.

Keep sharpening your strengths and your best golf may still be ahead of you.

What Your Results Mean

The biggest myth in golf is that lower scores come from hitting the ball farther.

The reality?

Golf is won and lost inside 100 yards.

And based on your Mid-Season Assessment, your scoring clubs are helping you do exactly what good players do:

✅ Give yourself makeable putts.

✅ Convert more up-and-down opportunities.

✅ Avoid costly three-putts.

✅ Turn bogeys into pars and pars into birdie chances.

You're already doing a lot of things right.

Now it's about becoming even more efficient.

The Difference Between Good and Great

The difference between:

85 and 82.

82 and 79.

79 and 76.

Usually isn't your driver.

It's one extra up-and-down.

One fewer three-putt.

One wedge that finishes five feet closer.

The best scorers don't eliminate mistakes.

They simply make fewer of them.

Your Mid-Season Practice Plan

DRILL #1 - Distance Ladder Challenge

Purpose:

Improve distance control from scoring yardages.

Setup:

If you have a practice area or your yard, place alignment sticks or towels at:

  • 20 yards
  • 40 yards
  • 60 yards
  • 80 yards

Hit:

3 balls to each target.

Goal:

All three balls finish within:

✔ 5 yards from 20-40 yards

✔ 8 yards from 60-80 yards

Why It Matters:

Most golfers practice one distance.  Great scorers learn to control multiple distances.  Distance control creates easier birdie putts and stress-free pars.

Level Up:

Complete all four distances without missing the target zone.

Then repeat.

DRILL #2 -The 3-Foot Circle Challenge

Purpose:

Improve proximity to the hole.

Setup:

Drop 10 balls around the green:

  • Tight lie
  • Light rough
  • Uphill lie
  • Downhill lie
  • Greenside bunker

Play every shot.

Goal:

Finish:

7 of 10 inside three feet.

Tour-Level Goal:

8 of 10.

Why It Matters:

You don't need to hit miracle shots.  You simply need to eliminate the long second putt.  The easiest way to make more pars?  Leave shorter putts.

DRILL #3 - Beat the Three-Putt

Purpose:

Develop elite lag putting.

Setup:

Putt:

  • 5 balls from 20 feet.
  • 5 balls from 30 feet.
  • 5 balls from 40 feet.

Goal:

Every putt finishes inside:

3 feet.

If one finishes outside the circle…

Start over.

Why It Matters:

Three-putts kill momentum.

One fewer three-putt per round saves:

20 strokes over twenty rounds.

DRILL #4 - The Pressure Putting Game

Purpose:

Build confidence from inside six feet.

Setup:

Make:

  • 5 from 3 feet.
  • 5 from 4 feet.
  • 5 from 5 feet.

Miss one?

Start over.

Why It Matters:

Great scorers trust short putts.  This drill teaches you to perform when every putt matters.

Equipment That Supports Great Scoring

The right equipment doesn't create skill.

But it can make your strengths even more consistent.

The right wedge can help you finish closer.

The right putter can improve your speed control and confidence.

Small improvements often create big scoring opportunities.

Keep Building on Your Strengths

Whether you're trying to:

✔ Break 90

✔ Break 80

✔ Lower your handicap

✔ Win more matches
