I love this wedge. I hit better and more consistent shots with the Edison wedge compared to my Tylormade hi-toe or my Calllaway jaws wedge. Having more weight higher up the club face on the Edison wedge helps my shots since my ball contact is higher on the face.
Eagled out twice in the past month with my new 52 degree, love it.
Great feeling versatile wedges. Nice to be able to order wedges with custom graphite shafts to match my irons.
Sweat soaked hands are not conducive to good golf . With the Edison towel I no longer worry about my hands slipping off the club! Great quality and my hands and grips stay dry!
I must first admit that I bought this wedge at a transitional time. I am rebuilding my swing, but doing it slowly at 66 years of age. I purchased based on the claim that the clubs would improve the results of shots struck less than perfectly. Both my range sessions and course performance seem to prove this claim has significant merit on half to full swings! I have not used the club for chipping or pitching enough to evaluate the performance on these more delicate shots, but I would state that my performance has seen the general effect of more solid-feeling contact across the board and considerably less variance in my distances! The club also has maintained - if not increased - my spin rate while slightly decreasing the height at apex, which is also very important!
In short, the 49 degree has delivered as promised and, if the results continue as my mechanics improve, I will likely order two more once I establish my gaps.
Does a great job cleaning your club and/or your ball.
I really like the magnet rather than the retractable leash like other brushes.
Just the right amount of water, I have never run out of water during the round.
I don’t use it, I use other equipment for cleaning my clubs on the course that are less bulky.
Should have bought these wedges years ago. I get more height, more spin and better dispersion. I now have to hit it past the hole because I'm backing the ball up because of the spin these generate!
I can't say they lowered my handicap much, but I am hitting much better shots. If I had it to do over I would. It adds another level of enjoyment to my time on the course.
I've been playing 3 Edison 2.0 wedges (47, 51, 55 degrees loft) for a few weeks now. The feedback on every shot is exceptionally good, as is the spin and trajectory. This is my first time using graphite shafts, but after a day of getting used to them, I wouldn't want to be without them. I'm still using an old Eidolon 60 degree lob wedge, but next year at the latest, I'll swap it for an Edison 2.0 wedge. To summarize: These are my 3rd generation wedges from Terry Koehler and they are clearly the best for my game (my handicap fluctuates between 10 and 11)
